Summer Camp Scholarship

Scholarship Requirements:

• Student must be between 6-18 years old.
• Application must be submitted by parent/guardian (parental consent will be verified on winning entries).
• Winning applicants must submit a photo of student at the camp and a paragraph describing their camp experience within 2 weeks of completing the camp. Summer Kids Guide has the right to share photos and paragraphs submitted online and on our social media.

Scholarship Terms:

• Applicants understand that there are far more applicants than scholarships available.
• Applicants understand that scholarships are chosen by judges based on the essay submitted in the application.
• Only 1 application is allowed per student, per year.
• Scholarship winners must attend a camp that is currently listed on SummerKidsGuide.com at the time the scholarship is awarded.
• Summer Kids Guide cannot guarantee space will be available in the camp of your choice. In the event that no spaces are available, winner must be willing to choose another date or camp or they will forfeit the scholarship.
• Scholarship must be used within 1 year from the date it is awarded.
• Scholarships cannot be transferred to another person. If the winner cannot attend a camp, a new winner will be chosen.
• Scholarship winner must respond and accept the scholarship within 2 weeks of receiving notice or they will forfeit the scholarship and it will be awarded to another student.
• Scholarship will cover up to $500 USD of the base cost of the camp. If the total cost of the camp chosen is higher, than the winner will be responsible to cover the additional cost.
• Scholarship does not cover any additional camp expenses including, but not limited to, before or after care, food, etc...
• Summer Kids Guide may close the program to new applicants at any time for any reason, without prior notice.
• Scholarship is not redeemable for cash.
• Any violation of these Terms will disqualify the Scholarship applicant or winner.
