About Horse Camp

Horsemanship: 4th-6th Grade

This camp is geared towards beginner riders that love horses and want to learn more about them. Campers will enjoy two hours at the ranch each day. One hour is spent in Western riding instruction in our outdoor arena, while the second hour includes horse safety and basic care and handling. At the end of the week campers can enjoy trying out their new skills on the Timber-lee horse trails!

Horse Trainers: 6th-8th Grade

A great opportunity for junior high campers at the beginner or intermediate riding level! Two to three hours will be spent at the ranch each day in Western riding instruction and classes on horse handling, care, and safety. New and different aspects of horseback riding, including bareback and English, will be introduced, and a special one-and-a-half hour long trail ride will be enjoyed by all.

Horse Wrangler: 9th-12th Grade

Everything learned in Horsemanship and Horse Trainers camp has led up to Horse Wranglers! Three hours each day will be spent at the ranch learning Western horsemanship, horse care and handling, bareback riding, grooming, saddling, and more. You will also get to experience a trail ride out to our Timber-lee base camp where you’ll camp out overnight with your horse. No matter your skill level, you will find something to enjoy during this week!
