About International School of Indiana Language Camp

The ISI Language Summer Camp blends a variety of instructional and recreational activities to engage children of all ages. French, Mandarin, Spanish, and Portuguese camp days include at least two daily lessons on key words and phrases, dialogue practice, and exposure to traditional music, folklore and literary stories. Rotating camp themes and hands-on activities include family, food, dance, music, movies, books, history, fashion, jobs, sports, hobbies, holidays, environment, geography, general lifestyle and more.

Currently, masking is not required. ISI has followed the Marion County Health Department guidelines throughout the pandemic, and will continue to match our policy to the policies provided from officials.

What activities are offered at Language Summer Camp?

Rotating camp themes and hands-on activities include family, food, dance, music, movies, books, history, fashion, jobs, sports, hobbies, holidays, environment, geography, general lifestyle and more.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?

Camper-to-counselor ratio ranges from 7:1 to 15:1 depending on age group.

How much time do the campers spend outside?

Camp is held on International School of Indiana’s 60-acre campus located in Indianapolis on Michigan Road along the White River. Though schedules differ based on age and language track, campers will have access to natural trails, an outdoor track, soccer fields, playground, picnic seating, and gymnasium.
